Intro

An old survival horror PS2 game that was only released in the PAL and JP regions.
If I had to describe it to someone, I would say it's like Animal Crossing x Silent Hill! Without going into spoilers, the hotel exists similar to that of Silent Hill.
I can't even remember where I first heard about this. I was on a mission to play as many survival horror games as I could as this was on the list, I think. I picked up a copy for cheap (they go for a fair bit more now).
There's lots of things to love here.
- Character designs (unusual and inspiring)
- Weirdly chill yet eerie atmosphere
- Overall theme
There's also an anime. It introduces new characters (I am particularly fond of Salary man, a jab at Japanese work culture). You can watch the episodes for free on Youtube here!
Note: The guests' info (apart from Cactus Girl) come from their in-game descriptions when examining their schedules. The item/book descriptions also come from the game.
